Everton, Forest keen on Isidor

Latest from Your Site News' Lyall Thomas:

Everton and Nottingham Forest have enquired about Sunderland striker Wilson Isidor

No concrete approach has been made yet as both clubs are also considering or waiting on other targets, whom are on this list.

The Frenchman also has interest in him from multiple clubs overseas, and he is one to watch with 11 days left of this window.

The 25-year-olds contract is up in 2028 and he has fallen down the striking pecking order at Sunderland behind Brian Brobbey and sometimes Eleizer Mayenda.

Isidore has not been in a Premier League squad since New Years Day and has not started two games in a row since November.

Therefore, Isidor has scored ony four Premier League goals this season, and none since October.

Forest agree loan terms for Lucca

Icon

Nottingham Forest have agreed loan terms with Napoli for Lorenzo Lucca, according to Sky in Italy, but the striker has not given a final decision over his future and discussions continue.

Pisa his former club are also interested in Lucca and have offered him a chance to stay in Italy so the situation remains in the balance and down to the player.

Forest are therefore also working on other options, some mentioned above, and also including the likes of Evan Ferguson.

Forest have made signing a striker a priority following an injury to Chris Wood and uncertainty over the progress of Arnaud Kalimuendo, who has gone to Germany on loan for his development.

Lucca is a 25-year-old Italy international who is technically on loan at Napoli from Udinese

However, Napoli hold an obligation to buy him and so would execute that obligation before he would be able to move anywhere else.

Therefore, if Forest do indeed loan him, it would be from Napoli and not Udinese.

Palace looking at centre-back and midfielder

Latest from Your Site News' James Savundra:

Crystal Palace are prioritising signing a centre-back in this window following the departure of Marc Guehi, and are also open to a central midfielder, but adding a right wing-back now appears unlikely.

With Daniel Munoz very close to a returning following a knee injury, the improving availability of Palaces right-sided options means there is less urgency to strengthen that area of the pitch.

Your Site News previously reported that the Eagles had an interest in signing Zakaria El Ouahdi from Genk.

But as well as Munoz, Nathaniel Clyne and Rio Cardines are almost back from their own spells on the sidelines. The club also, unexpectedly, recalled Danny Imray from his loan spell at Blackpool.

The club have also been boosted by the return to fitness of centre-back Chadi Riad. However, the former Barcelona defender will not be rushed back to action having not featured for the first-team for more than a year.

Palace are still open to signing a central midfielder if the right market opportunity presents itself.

Daichi Kamada who has excelled this season is still missing through injury and his contract is set to expire this summer.

Latest from Your Site News' Anthony Joseph, James Savundra & Rob Dorsett:

Wrexham have entered the race to sign Angers forward Sidiki Cherif.

Its understood the Welsh club have opened talks with the French side to explore the conditions of a deal for the 19-year-old.

Crystal Palace continue to work on a deal for Cherif and remain confident of signing him, but will not overpay.

Your Site News reported on Tuesday that Palace's latest offer was for an initial loan that would include an obligation to buy if certain conditions were met.

The proposed package, which included a 2.6m loan fee, was worth 13.1m.

It is understood that the Ligue 1 club are holding out for a full package worth around 17.4m. They appear to have come down on their initial demand of 21.8m.

If Wrexham were to table an official offer, it is likely to be a potential record fee for the club and possibly even the Championship.

Wrexham broke their transfer record for a third time last summer when they signed Nathan Broadhead from Ipswich Town in a deal worth 10m.
